I SAW A PLAY, ONCE. . .
"Triumph Of Love"
at the Towle Community Theater, Hammond, Indiana
Awful!
A script without anything of value to say. The scenery was flimsy and cheap. The acting was timid and flat. The direction was. . . was. . . . Well, where was it? Absent! And the worse part of the whole production was. . . What? You guessed it: the audience! The biggest bunch of creeps and phonies of which I've ever had to be a part. I fled! Don't ever want to go back there, again!
(The muscians were pretty good.)
